Family Information Service
The Essex Family Information Service gives free unbiased information to parents and carers of children and young people up to the age of 20. They provide information regarding the different types of childcare and support services available in Essex. They can help if you are looking for Ofsted registered childcare provision, including child minders, pre-schools, private day nurseries and out of school clubs.
The Family Information Service is open Monday - Thursday from 8.30am - 5.30pm and on Friday from 8.30am - 5pm.

National Childminding Association

Community Family Centre Canvey Island Breakfast Club, After Schools Club and Holiday Play Schemes
Play Planet Family Project provide after school care at Canvey Junior School for children aged 4-12 years from 3.15pm – 6.00pm Monday to Friday. A school pick up service is available for children attending Canvey Infants and Juniors, William Read Primary and St. Joseph’s. All other schools are welcome but a pick up service is not available.

Busy Bears Club - Northwick Park Primary School
The Busy Bears Club, which is based at Northwick Park Primary School opens from 7.30am - 6.00pm all year round (excluding 24 December - 1 January). It offers a breakfast club, pre-school, full day care for 2-4 year olds, an after school club and a holiday club. For more information call 01268 511863.
